Hello Everyone!

I just spent a tremendous amount of hours working to put together ALL of my information in order to publish, here on WordPress, my Verbally Disastrous Press Kit!! Yikes! What a marathon of time sucked and data to assemble!! I am very serious about working on cultivating my listening audience and providing content worthy of a few laughs and offering a few nuggets of new information. In order to let people know you exist, you must work hard and knock on doors. My dad used to say that this is why God gave you two hands. When one hand is tired, you knock with the other one. As of now, I have about 23 platforms where I placed the podcast. I am missing a few platforms for the audio blog. I would like to seek more on a more global scale. Any suggestions would be awesome! I have to find time and smash that task as well. It will happen over the course of time when I discover new platforms. I already found and placed both podcasts on Deezer. I read that it is the “Spotify of Europe”. I have previously put myself out there and have invited anyone who wants to cross promote their work with me to reach out. I am again putting out the offer. We can exchange articles or marketing material. I am very open to that. I put a press kit together so I can work on the next level with sponsorship. A press kit is necessary for when you grow your audience and you are looking to put ad campaigns on your podcast and/or blog. The objective is to provide a block of data that gives a glimpse of your culture & a synopsis of what your content is about. This information helps a potential sponsor to review and determine if you are a fit to become one of their brand ambassadors. I tease people that I want to be the next “female Joe Rogan”. I get a few laughs about it- mission accomplished! My goal is lofty and I have put my energy out to the universe that I want to grow and have the option to do this full time in the future. I just told Melissa that today and she laughed. 😛 I have a busy day tomorrow so I am punching out, Maverick. Hello Everyone!

I am sharing a few YouTube videos where we went zip lining as a family for my son’s 16th birthday. As of today, I have released the first 9 videos. I have about 25 videos in total to release on this fun trip. This is including a funny clip where Johnny filmed me zipping and I slammed into him. I am surprised that he didn’t drop his phone! I slammed into him pretty good. He is sturdy so he can take it- LOL! I will release that one soon! Why, you ask, in the world would I be sharing? 😛 It is because I choose to share a slice of fun with ya (cue wink)! I know many people say heights freak them out! There are some people who have never even done zip lining before. Some may consider trying it as soon as they see some other people up in the air with some courage. Some may even dream about doing an activity like this one some day. I grew up as that kid that never went on vacations, hardly ate in a restaurant, never went to a dentist, didn’t have health insurance, couldn’t play sports due to no health insurance, very few clothes, and had very few luxuries in life. I picked out a damn good career and made those dreams come true as an adult. I have extended better conditions for my sons. At times, I feel like they do not realize how good they have it. I recently had a chat with my sons. My eldest said, “it is hard to really vibe on a struggle if you never made us struggle with you”. I said that is a good point taken. You always want better for your kids than you had yourself. Many people are at different stages in life. I am all about helping people out and sharing the fun! I was talked into going on the Blue zip line course. Since I have back problems, it was more of a challenge than I wanted. However, I had to finish since there was no exit except for the end. I tried to capture the different sections of the obstacle course along with my surroundings. I don’t think videos do it justice the same as being up in the air. Yes, we tease Johnny about not wearing a belt. He often moons us throughout the different videos. I have bought him belts and asked if he needs a new one. Despite us breaking his chops, he still chooses to not wear one. Yes, we talk trash back and forth. As they are a lot older, we engage in it. I hope you get a laugh or two in the process of watching the clips. The world is a vast and mighty canvas with many interesting things to see and do. Hello Everyone!

I have been going back and forth in my head about getting the Covid-19 vaccine. I have been trying to discern the pros vs cons of getting the shot in my arm. I had many questions to sort through before pulling the trigger on the task. Do I ride it out until I absolutely have to? Do I just get it over with? Am I really legally required to do this in the short or long term? What liberties are going to be taken away by not doing it in the future? If I wait till the last minute, will I run into a conflict where one event hinges on getting the vaccine? Do I get Pfizer? Moderna? Johnson & Johnson? Any new and improved vaccines to wait on their release? What are the side effects? Can I get cancer at a later date from this shot? Will this shot effect my hormones? Does this mean that I am subjected to now getting booster shots each year? How will this impact my immune system? I am very glad that I do not have to worry myself with pregnancy concerns. I hope you have weighed out, to the same degree or more, the pros vs cons of getting the vaccine? I have not been absorbing daily news reports or mass quantities of social media within the past year. This is due to the negative energy and chaos that stemmed from the recent U.S. presidential campaign and the ongoing global pandemic. I often believe that the media is designed to instill fear in your heart. When you are in constant fear or chaos, you keep watching various forms of media. While you keep seeking information, they earn revenue from you absorbing the commercials. I am not believing the conspiracy theories regarding Bill Gates injecting us with some form of eugenics serum. In this day and age, it is really hard to find unbiased news. I just want it delivered with zero opinions like the olden days.

Part of me REALLY didn’t want to even bother getting the shot! I have been rather anti-social the past year since I REALLY didn’t want any part of getting sick either! I spent Thanksgiving solo due to family members becoming afflicted by Covid-19. Once I hear of a casualty amongst friends and/or family, I keep my distance for a period of time. The usual festivities for Christmas were not the same either. All in all, I made the best of the situation. It is one thing to endure this on a social level. It is another thing when this pandemic effects your health. The stress of this global pandemic, in the spring of 2020, actually showed up in my bloodwork. My doctor said to me that she didn’t know what kind of stress I was under. She then said that I need to remove myself from it. If I didn’t, I was heading towards a stroke or heart attack. Of course this bit of medical news did put fear in my heart. I really took on the stress of getting the required PPE for my electrical shop I worked for here in New York City as an essential worker. Between a coworker and I, we combed many various stores, throughout New York City, trying desperately to get the PPE that was required for the entire crew of men and women. Each time I went to the store, I was only able to get a limited amount of items. Only a few other people opted to get in on helping to acquire the PPE. I found that the stress of acquiring PPE while others sat back doing nothing to be a very frustrating!! There was a threat of shutting down jobsites for not having proper PPE onsite. I took on this threat very seriously!! I often spent a tremendous amount of my own personal time trying to acquire it. In hindsight, I do not truly feel like my efforts were fully recognized in a proper way. I have learned, to my frustration, that there are many lazy people who walk the Earth. I have worked with many of these lazy folks- LOL. They often rely, if they can get away with it, on the motivated co-workers for the bulk of the tasks to be completed. I have to figure how to fall back, be kind to myself, and not be so eager to take care of things. The good thing is I have more years accomplished than what is needed to retire. I am relieved to have moved on from that moment in time and only now reflect.

Anyone who has shared with me that they went to get an appointment, it has been an absolute nightmare! They told me that it was super difficult to make the appointment since the appointment portal kept saying that there were “no appointments available”. One of my close friends was not able to get an appointment until May. That same friend was then able to get the appointment a month earlier after rigorously searching. Meanwhile, I opted to do a search for the first time on April 5, 2021. For anyone in New York, here is the website I used to make a vaccine appointment: cdms2.health.ny.gov. For the past few years, I have been working as an essential worker on various MTA and Bridges & Tunnels projects so I qualify. After some extensive thinking about the vaccine, I opted to move forward with the vaccine process. In my thought process, perhaps I won’t be as stressed out about getting the virus if I just go for the vaccine? I may have had some deep down fears, on a subconscious level, that I am not even aware of on the surface. I will admit, I have been rather fearful of this virus. This is especially true during the very start of the lockdown. The fear of the new and unknown. Despite this fear, I pushed through and kept going to work each day while most people I knew stayed home on lockdown. I have not used so much hand sanitizer nowadays than in my entire life! I inherited high blood pressure for the past few years. I must take this health issue into consideration as well. Ultimately, I moved forward and started searching for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine appointment. I kept refreshing the page repeatedly until I stumbled upon an appointment. To my surprise, the appointment was for the next day in less than 24 hours!! I didn’t waste any time and made the appointment. I shared this nugget of good luck with some friends who got a hearty laugh out of it. My one friend said, “you are good with the computer. That is why you got the appointment so soon!” I got a kick out of sharing while being annoying and gloating over securing so swiftly my vaccine appointment. 😛

It is important to gather your documents to show proof of your age and address. I brought my proof to show that I am an essential worker as well. There was an extra health survey to complete in addition to the main health form. To my dismay, no one asked me for it. I felt like that was a complete waste of time. I had my barcode ready in my Adobe app to share, when required. I bring all my documentation and I get to the Jacob Javits Center about 42 minutes early. I took mass transit and tried to smoothly stroll from Penn Station to the Jacob Javits Center without raising my body temperature. I was fearful of power walking, sweating profusely, being told that my temperature was too high, and then ultimately denied entrance. There is nothing worse than an entire wasted trip!! While resting in the front entrance, I was amazed to see the level of new coverage all around the front entrance!! The news truck was across the street, with a photographer or two. On the same side of the street, in front of the entrance, several journalists with a camera crew were stalking people coming in and out of the front entrance. My only regrets are that I didn’t dress up and wear make-up, or wear my Verbally Disastrous podcast promo shirt!! What was I thinking!?! Next time I will be better prepared! Wait! Hopefully, there is not a next time. I only have room for one global pandemic in my lifetime. To my surprise, I didn’t endure a temperature check once I was inside. Thank goodness the space was not too stuffy yet not too cool either. This polar bear in me prefers the coolness any day compared to the heat. After a little line, I get to a fella who quizzes me on the same questions that I had filled out the night before! What was the point of filling that out if I was just going to be quizzed again the next day!?! For goodness sake, they are rather simple questions. I am more convinced each day that there are many mindless folks that walk the planet. I then go stand in another line to get pricked by a woman with gloves and a smile at a table on the opposite side of the building. Her partner working the computer screen was as equally charming. I walked up to the duo of ladies and say, “I am so happy to be here!” They both start laughing then ask me if I am serious. I retort “of course not” in return. Between the three of us, we have a brief exchange about a wide variety of things-including the business at hand with precise instructions. Somehow we got on the subject of childhood spankings. Don’t ask me how! LOL! I then respond with a memory of coming home from school, when I was in kindergarten, with a “permission to spank me” note. Of course, I let them know that my dad signed that thing right away and handed it back to me to give to my teacher. We were all laughing jointly while some other young woman stared at us in a solemn manner. There is nothing quite like infusing humor into an otherwise tense, stressful, and boring situation. We carried on for a moment speaking about different types of corporal punishment and being traumatized by beatings as a kid. Now it is time to get serious and get that shot in the arm. That needle delivered a mixed stinging and burning sensation toward the end of the vaccine. I then thank the ladies for their assistance, the laughs, and I am guided to the plastic chairs section. The goal is to sit in a plastic chair for 15 minutes while chugging a small bottle of water. This “time out” chair is intended to make sure we don’t fall out as part of an allergic reaction. There is a big screen with a clock, a “thank you card” plastic board, and a piano in the “time out” section. Like the nerd that I am, I stayed for the entire 15 minutes then rolled out of the building like a boss. Here are some photos taken of the “time out” space:

The soreness on my arm faded in a few hours. I am fine with my choice to go for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Unlike the other options, I have to only go one time to get vaccinated and not two weeks apart like the other brands. The only thing that I sense is some sore and achy joints. I am unsure if that is my usual aches and pains or from the vaccine. I slept fine last night and woke up alive and okay. I sure hope my J&J vaccine review helps to ease your mind before you proceed with it yourself. I was initially hesitant on it since my faith in doctors is rather shaky. However, procedures happen a lot sooner when there is no bureaucratic red tape involved in the process. I figured I can’t really get on my high horse about refusing to get the shot. This is considering I joined the military young and was hit with probably 20 vaccines at once in both of my arms during boot camp. Sometimes it is best to push the fears aside and just get it out of the way. Again, I hope this helps you in your process. Hello Everyone!

One of the topics that I promised to discuss, as per podcast Episode #2 Upcoming Podcast Topics, involved my old strategy of avoiding other women with bad work reputations. This was back when I worked with the tools as a woman in construction here in New York. I have around 28 years, including the military, worth of experience as an electrician in construction. I started my career as an E1 Constructionman Apprentice at 17-years old in the U.S. Navy Seabees. I opted to request to leave the military after marrying my husband and following him to New York. Unfortunately, my husband passed away about two years after leaving the military. The topic of becoming a widow and managing life in the aftermath is a topic of itself. I will carve out time to discuss that at a later time. I joined the electrician’s union about six months before my husband died. My first year as an apprentice was rough as a young widow! I didn’t really touch on that in my book #ConstructionTales. This is partly due to the desire to speak about my journey becoming an electrician and not so much about my personal struggles. In my opinion, the story of a woman breaking into construction was more important to get on paper as opposed to my personal struggles as a widow. Perhaps I am wrong on that approach (shrug my shoulders). Perhaps I can expand on that journey a little in Construction Tales: Volume 2: My Illuminated Path Continues… I worked with the tools for about 22 years before going into the management side of the business. In hindsight, within the first 15 years, I wanted to establish my reputation and avoid the “sins” of other workers.

For the most part, I would try to avoid socializing with other women in the beginning of my career. It was not that hard of a task since there were very few other women. I would be even more drawn to avoiding some women who were perceived as either using the trade to find a husband or a lazy worker. I didn’t particularly like lazy men either. I still don’t like lazy workers. I feel like it is even more frustrating to deal with lazy workers once you are in management. I get my drive from my father. No one was tougher on me than my dad who had a crazy work ethic. Apparently, I passed that down to my sons (more so my eldest). My eldest son Tom said that no one has pushed him as hard as I have to work hard. As I have gotten older, I have softened up my approach. I feel like I have a bunch of work to do to instill in my son Johnny a strong work ethic. That comes in time via introducing tasks for him to complete. When I am at work, I get to rely on my foreman to make the call and I get to support the decision. After all, it is his job and his decision. This method has indeed taken the pressure off of me. I am learning, over the years, to not be such a hard ass. Being a hard ass has given me back problems that I cannot escape and must manage. One must ask, is the risk of health problems worth the strong pull to get the job done quickly? That has been my painful lesson learned in my life. The boss gets his job done, makes his money, and moves on. I made my money as well. Yet, I ended up with inheriting multiple bulging discs. It is indeed a balance one must strike within their career.

When I first started in this business, hardly anyone wanted to interact with me. My classmates, as a first year apprentice, used to not even want to speak to me. I refused to let that bother me. In construction, your reputation precedes you. When people know you are coming onto a jobsite, they call around to their fellow peers to get a sense of who you are as a worker beforehand. I learned early on to use a lot of humor and let any zingers sent my way get met with equally sharp retorts. Once you do that, the guy who wanted to break your balls will back down. I describe in detail, in my book, quite a few of those scenarios. My objective was to establish a strong work reputation that mirrored my father’s work ethic. In my mind, I could not afford to surround myself with other women who didn’t share the same mindset. I refused to follow lazy minded folks no matter how tempting the discussion or acts were at the time. On many occasions, I was the person who continued working while I had a group of men gabbing behind me. Either a fellow coworker or I used to joke that a grenade would take out the entire crew in an effort to break up the gossip party. I remember working for a few general foremen who came around expecting to catch me idle. A few would be rather direct and joke that I am not meeting their expectations. I would retort back that once I see them heading my way, I would jump into action like the “professional slacker” that I am. I would then go back to work after sharing a brief laugh. One general foreman, back in 2008, gave me the nickname “Fabulous Moohlah” after an incident on the jobsite. That story was intense and it indeed belongs in Volume 2. It is safe to say that I earned his respect after that incident. Despite my consistent behavior of working hard, there were people who just could not accept the fact that I had a strong work ethic. However, the bulk of my peers would see my efforts- thankfully!

I was sometimes super frustrated to get teamed up with a slacker!! Especially as a partner where you have to do most of the work. It would absolutely get under my skin if the lazy male partner was ever perceived as the worker and I was the slacker. Thankfully, I don’t think that was ever the case since a person’s lazy reputation also preceded them. If I was teamed up with a lazy woman, I would lose my damn mind!! Every one around me somehow knew that I was not fond of other women that were in the business posing as a bum worker. Just to be funny, they would team up a lazy female with me so I can show her what needs to be done. Behind the scenes, I would get teased that I needed to, “help a sister out Lez! Take her under your wing”. I am sure I had my choice words that were met with great laughter. At some point, I would get a break and they would put the female with someone else. All is fun and games until someone loses an eye! Years ago, we had this woman who earned the nicknames: “Joker”, “Crusty The Clown”, and “Construction Barbie” to name a few. She would get passed on to shop after shop. Legend has it, she was eventually blacklisted from working with a large list of contractors. I never knew if it was true or the many stories much less. I heard about her taking a very large reel of wire off the truck- say 4 feet in height. She didn’t chock the reel and it went flying away from her. She was seen running frantically after the wire reel so it didn’t absolutely destroy either property or a nearby vehicle. I heard about her wrestling a 2 ft x 4 ft light fixture for a hung ceiling while standing on a ladder in the space where the light was supposed to be landed. She was on a deck job going back and forth using a Dixie cup filling boxes with sand before a concrete pour instead of finding a large container and doing it in one trip. I can go on and on about the Construction Barbie stories. I believe she quit the business either as an apprentice or not long before becoming a journeywoman. Now a woman like this, I didn’t want to be caught dead working with her!!

As I got older, I began to soften up my approach on dealing with lazy men or women. This was after quite a few years of building my own reputation. I worked for a shop for five years where all we did was power distribution work, four inch rigid conduit in a ditch, setting parking lot lights with a bucket truck, man hole work, and railroad platforms. For a woman to work consistently for one shop doing heavy work, that was quite an accomplishment. During that time, I even worked with the tools while pregnant. My close friend Donny, who is a brother to me, knew immediately that I was pregnant. I made him swear that he would not speak on it. During that time, I was spinning a lot of four inch rigid conduit. Each ten foot section weighs about 89 pounds or 40.4 kilograms. I had never felt so tired in my life or so cold as winter approached. Most of our work was outside in ditches, railroad stations, airports, parking lots. Light duty was not an option. That was especially true in that particular shop. I did get lucky and got to work for a few months in a nursing home to do some inside work. I wanted to work as long as I could so I could take care of my son at home for a decent block of time before returning to work. I made it to the five month mark before I had to confess. Some of my coworkers wanted to KILL me when they found out!! I was climbing extension ladders and everything. All things you should not do while pregnant. At the time, I don’t know if I was proving to myself that I could do it? I was most certainly trying to be strategic about my pregnancy plan. Those details will be more in depth and in Volume 2 when I find time to keep writing it. Once I crossed that threshold of accomplishments (yes, as crazy as that sounds), perhaps that is when I opted to try to serve as more of a mentor to young women and minorities coming into the business. I have spoken up quite a few times, over the years, if I saw a minority being treated unfairly.

By 2011, I got tapped, by the Apprentice Director, to serve as a writing coach/instructor for Empire College. While at Empire College for about eight years, I either worked as a writing coach or taught Principles of Trade Unionism or OSHA. Empire College has a labor studies program where all of our apprentices must earn an associate degree in Labor Studies. I believe my son Tom is graduating from the same program either this year or next year. I must ask, since graduation is two months away, if it is this year. Once I came on board part time at Empire College, I was approached more and more about offering advice to female and minority apprentices on a wide variety of situations. I somewhat morphed into that role where I was the person giving guidance on handling sexual harassment, mean journeymen, ball breaking general foremen, or some sticky situations. I believe that this was my turning point on my approach. I went back to earn my bachelors and masters in business between 2009-2013. Perhaps earning my college education evolved my way of thinking as well? I believe I may have now determined my evolution while writing out this topic. After having a significant amount of years in this business coupled with being tapped to serve as a coach and instructor, I slid into the role of serving as a mentor. My demeanor helps make me approachable during a one on one discussion. Even on the job, I had people approach me quietly about how to tackle a task. I took that vote of confidence, in my mind, very seriously and went with it. I was approached around 2012 to come on board as an apprentice instructor. I turned it down since I was earning my MBA at that time and I was tapped out with my schedule. I am sure that I will pick up teaching part time again in the future as a retirement gig. I have a busy mind and I cannot imagine shutting down 100% once I retire.

In summary, I evolved from that apprentice that few wanted to interact with to becoming a college level instructor who serves as a mentor to many apprentices. By my last year of my apprenticeship (which is 5th year), I was quite tight with my class. I have even hung out with them socially on many occasions. There are quite a bit of very funny situations that came out during those social functions. If you would have asked me, as a first year apprentice, if I could have imagined some 25 years later. I could not have guessed the degree of change in my career path. Despite earning some aches & pain along the way, I would not trade my path for anything. I have enjoyed working on projects and taking great pride in the tasks my hands have created. I have learned about the power of sharp retorts that have stopped a jerk right in his tracks. I relish in those memories. I have learned to let negative banter run off my back like water. Never penetrating my soul as it was the intended target. Humor is a mighty tool that I recommend highly! I have learned to try to be softer on people who are learning. It can be an intimidating process. Oftentimes, I had to learn by watching since few people wanted to take the time to explain. I even had people hide what they were working on. They didn’t want me to learn. They tried to get me to fail via withholding information. I have seen guys hide prints and take them with them to put in the trunk of their car. At times, it is indeed a cut throat industry. On the other hand, I see it as the brotherhood & sisterhood of my trade family. Many people look out for my son on my behalf. Tom has been taken under the wings of some fine journeymen. He values that tremendously since he grew up without a father figure. I have bonded with quite a few journeywomen who have varied levels of skill. I am not proclaiming to be the best female in my trade. I just take a lot of pride in my work and put forth a tremendous amount of effort to do my best. I have shaken off the notion that a fellow trade woman’s reputation will seep onto mine quite a few years ago. I have dived into the Safety Manager role that is different in nature yet still has a mentor approach to it. Hopefully, my last 15-17 years left in my career can have at least as much or more of a positive impact on my trade brothers & sisters as what I have accomplished to date. Hello Everyone!

I sometimes go looking for good advice since I decided to become a YouTube creator under the name Verbally Disastrous. I took some notes from a YouTube creator by the name of Cathrin Manning. She gave some good tips so I am sharing her YouTube page and notes that came from one of her videos. It is fair to give credit when it is due. Here is Ms. Manning’s YouTube channel:

Here are some tips on starting a YouTube channel:

1. Really think through your channel name
2. Google your channel name before you commit to it
3. Figure out what videos you would like to make
4. Narrow down your passions into a specific niche
5. Don’t niche down too hard
6. Figure out your target audience (tip: come up with 3 main topics that you can create videos about and stick to it!)
7. Stop trying to be like other YouTubers
8. Find something different that you can bring to YouTube (and lean into it like crazy)
9. Learn the algorithm as soon as possible
10. Create a YouTube strategy and uploading schedule
11. Start saving up for nicer equipment (don’t go out and blow $$$ before you even create your first video)
12. Make smaller investments as you go
13. Sign up for epidemic sound [sponsored]
14. Take a specific photo for your thumbnail (not just a screen capture)
15. Create videos no one else has created (you really have to think outside of the box here!)

I hope you can use the advice as much as I could use it as a new YouTube creator. I checked out some other creators such as Think Media, vidIQ, tech HOW, Gallagur, Nick Nimmin & Dee Nimmin, and a few others. I believe I learned some good technical tips from Gallagur such as adding your logo tag for the duration of the video. The subscribe button imbedding to the video so a viewer can see the subscription and click on it. Each one of the folks offered a nugget of good information to take away. I am using the portrait style video under 30 seconds- known as “#shorts” to gain new viewers. I put the “hashtag short” in my description on each of my videos so YouTube can pick it up and share as a short video. I learned that tip via looking at other creators giving tips when I first started. When I check my analytics, 90% or more of my audience came from my “short” videos. That is good to get new traffic since some may explore my page and find my podcast & audio blog episodes. I am not an expert but I have learned quite a bit in such a short period of time. As of today, I have 76 subscribers. I am trying to get to 100 subscribers. The next goal is 250, then 500, then 750, then 1000k subscribers. I appreciate anyone who supports the channel. I hope everyone is having a Happy Easter!?! I spent the weekend with both of my sons Tom & Johnny. My son Johnny’s birthday happened to fall on Easter this year. I am finally settled in this evening after running around with them all weekend. I found the Verbally Disastrous podcast on I ❤ Heart Radio this evening. To give credit where it is due, I am using my Radio Public dashboard. This dashboard lists a bunch of podcast names. It has a spot where I can save my links once I complete the process of membership. The list is a little bigger than the one I use on Anchor. I went ahead and put myself in the directories on Castbox where I just claimed my podcast and created a profile. I added my podcast to the Podbean directory. I did go check out Overcast and it seems like it is affiliated with Apple. It appeared to be a “one man band” so I am not taking it too seriously. I would like to be on the directory. However, I am not “killing myself” to do so. I was using the website and it didn’t appear entirely user friendly. I checked out Castro and it has no means of submission. Castro picks up it’s list off of Apple Podcasts. It appears that one must have the app in order to search for the podcast to see if it is in the directory. I will just assume it is there since I am not an Apple person. I am going to ask my son Tom to check since he loves Apple and refuses to mess with Android.

I created an account on Stitcher for both the audio blog & podcast. Both accounts should be found on Stitcher in a few hours. As of this post release, it is not ready just yet in a search. Here is the Stitcher profile where the Verbally Disastrous podcast can be found when available:

I added the podcast to Player FM. I also found the podcast on Google Podcasts. The podcast appears to be alive on both of those platforms. I just got an email from Tune In saying that the Verbally Disastrous podcast will be available in about 24 hours. However, I did a check and it is already online in their directory. Yay for those milestones!!
