I hope you all are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend here in the United States!?! For anyone unfamiliar, the population of the United States celebrates Memorial Day Weekend that is usually the last Monday in May. The intention of Memorial Day is to honor the men and women who have serve, both past and present, in the military of our armed forces. We have the Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, and the Air Force. Memorial Day became a holiday back in 1971 via an act in Congress. Memorial Day was previously known as Decoration Day. Three years after the Civil War ended, on May 5, 1868, the head of an organization of Union veterans — the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) — established Decoration Day as a time for the nation to decorate the graves of the war dead with flowers. Maj. Gen. John A. Logan declared that Decoration Day should be observed on May 30. It is believed that date was chosen because flowers would be in bloom all over the country. Now you know the history of Memorial Day and how deep the roots are on this monumental weekend that officially kicks off the start of summer. Now, I am going to share with you a question posed by a person for me to answer on Quora. Here is the posed question and my response below it:

“What are the tipoffs that someone actually likes you?”

MY RESPONSE:

“The tip off when a person likes you would be several gestures. A smile, the lingering gaze, a giggle, playing with the hair, fumbling with the hands, or standing in close proximity. Perhaps asking you a extra questions to engage you in a dialogue. Your willingness to speak and continue the conversation will give the person interested the temperature check they seek. A person not interested will give very short and direct answers then proceed to move on from the situation. A person lingering longer than necessary is most definitely interested. A person who is generous with their time and money are most certainly investing in you. Beware- the art of flirting can be subtle and can be misconstrued as just being friendly. A man who is interested will just go in for the kill and ask for the phone number or social media handle. If the man likes you, he will pursue you. You will have zero doubt of a person’s intention since they will be consistent with their behavior. Anything less is just holding you as Plan B and wasting your time. I most sincerely wish you luck!”

I exchange tweets here and there with other podcasts on Twitter. I try to check out people’s work. Especially if they try out my work. A guy who I find humorous, so far in my exploration, is Glen from #NuzzleHouse. Since I am a dirty minded lady, here is the first podcast episode I chose to peep. My dirty mind spotted the ‘Orgasm Fairy’ story and I cracked up like crazy! I appreciate the delivery, the way he describes what he is thinking, the animation, and the addition of special guests. They other fella reading the stories with their perception of intended delivery was hysterical! I appreciate making a boring book interesting. That is a special gift that takes a lot of energy to deliver consistently. I think he is just funny without even trying to be funny. I never asked if he has ever done stand-up. It appears that he is doing this while on unemployment. A wise use of extra time, I must say. I wish Glen much luck on his journey to read various chapter sections of books. I am voting for him to do more amusing books such as the Orgasm Fairy book. I have to say that time flies whenever I get with House & Kyle! I hardly looked to see what time it was on the recording. I laughed so hard, as always, when we have the most random discussions. We tried to stay on task with sharing the childhood memories. Every once in awhile, we went off the rails with discussing their younger times when they DJ-ed gay club parties. We talked about discipline as kids. It is fair to say that we all got our asses kicked around! It is funny how we can all laugh about it. Perhaps it is coping mechanism. As House suggested, it’s a good thing that our crazy beatings and rough treatment didn’t turn my sister and I into strippers! Amen for escaping that plight! Not that there is anything wrong with stripping. I respect the hustle. I won’t give any more of the store away. Hello Everyone!

I am sharing a question (guess where?) where the person asks about another person’s communication style. The person posing the question is trying to figure out why the person is returning later in life. It makes sense to question a person’s motives for returning. I would wonder if they are coming back to borrow a cup of sugar or my lawn mower. All joking aside, I don’t hold a grudge on anyone from the past reaching out to check in. After all, life takes us on many rides. We all have different experiences that pulls away a lot of time. Depending on where we are in the life cycle, that is an indicator as to how much spare time is available. When I was raising my sons, I was focused on them and not so much a social life. I felt like my day was consumed with work and managing my household. Any of my friends who are parents totally get what this grind is like. I have friends who don’t have children yet are very productive. I hear from them from time to time when time permits. We will then spend hours catching up and I may not hear from then again for awhile. I am happy that Facebook exists so that I can loosely keep up on friends and family in a quick, lazy way. I totally fine with my periodic check-in with people. I am sad that people have an ax to grind about not being consistent with reaching out. If I have someone upset with me about my blocks of hibernation, I have honestly never thought about it before. For many years, I was a workaholic and I was never a person to have a ton of friends. I am sure my method of avoidance has helped me to avert problems with friends. 😛 I can’t think of a single person who I am annoyed with about their lack of communication. It is definitely a subject to think about. Read the question and my response below:

POSED QUESTION:

“Why do people who ignore you / never reply to texts as a teenager come back years later and then show effort? Like why now you clearly never cared before?”

MY RESPONSE:

“I am not sure if this is a male or female that you are referring to as the person coming back into your life. Therefore, I will try to look at both sides of the coin. There are a million reasons why people behave the way they do. There are many factors that come into play. You might get a straight answer if you ask. Sadly, it is possible that they may have overlooked your good qualities in high school and it took evolving into an adult to attempt a second shot at developing a relationship. Some people may get wrapped up in the stress of their first job in high school, test taking for colleges, first loves, and the planning of leaving the nest and becoming an adult. There is a huge shift in available time & responsibilities between going to high school and then entering adulthood. A young person has to figure out how to juggle college, work, boyfriend/ girlfriend relationships, paying rent, and having children somewhere along the way. The stress of becoming an adult may impact a person dramatically. It may cause them to shut down and isolate. It is possible that the person more than likely didn’t have the bandwidth to manage much more than daily life in the early stages of adulthood. If that is the case, it is their own personal issues that have nothing to do with you and all to do with them. Maybe they found their groove, got used to life, and found time to get back in touch with you. I know of quite a few women and men who get wrapped up in relationships and end up isolating themselves. Upon a break-up later on, the person realizes that they are now lonely and seek out old friends to re-connect. Those are mistakes many people make. I have plenty of friends who I have disconnected with over the years. We connect and spend quite a few hours re-connecting. I look at it like the phone rings both ways. If we both got tied up with life and lost touch, it is no big deal to catch up. I would only feel some kind of way if they show up asking for money and immediately wanting favors for them. It doesn’t take long to figure out someone’s intention. If you feel like you can’t look past a broken connection from high school, it is totally understandable and your right to do so. However, sometimes what wasn’t meant to be before ends up working out better later in life. Most people become more mature as they get older. Life can sure show up so I begrudge no one from going off the grid. Only you know what the right decision is to make. Now that you have read it, how is your style of communication with your friends and family? Do you have any family members or friends irritated with your lack of consistency? Do you have people that frustrate you with their communication style? Has your perception of a friend’s thoughts and feelings ruined a friendship? On the other hand, has your life struggles pushed you into hibernation? Has your hibernation, as a coping mechanism, pushed someone else away in the process? I know we don’t always disclose what is going on our lives to others. Those matters are private, can be embarrassing, and too overwhelming to share. This is why people should show others grace and be forgiving of their shortcomings. They have no idea of the battle that they are currently facing. As always, I thank you for peeping my content here. Hello Everyone!

I stumbled upon another odd question on Quora so I am sharing it with you. My knee jerk opinion is this person asking the question is trying to figure out how to manipulate others and create a toxic relationship with the person they seek attention. I then think about it for a bit. Perhaps the person is in the midst of being a victim of manipulation. The person is seeking feedback in order to help them review their relationship to determine if another person is in their head and why. I know I have dealt with men who were indeed a narcissist who had manipulated their way into my life. It is hard to shake a narcissist who sees you as valuable. Yes, I am aware the term narcissist is thrown around a lot on people. The people associate a person as a narcissist without being clinically diagnosed. I believe that there are many people who walk the Earth harming people and dodging their proper diagnosis. It is a total eye opener to intercept a partner’s communication to another person. Discovering a truly sinister person is such an eye-opener. It is scary since it made me realize that I didn’t “know” the person I dedicated over a decade to in a relationship. I only saw what he wanted me to see. Peeling back the layers of that revelation is a whole other topic of discussion. I did go on forums to try to get input on the behaviors associated with the personality in question. It makes you think about who can you really trust? Yes, I am not trained as a trained professional. I just offer my unique path of reasoning and advice on how I would perform critical thinking to determine a situation. I have 45-years worth of experience dealing and observing different personalities along my life path. I have observed the behaviors of many damaged co-workers over the years. I have also had the pleasure of witnessing the success and evolution of folks within my trade as well. The goal of sharing this type of data helps others to be wise of the bad behavior characteristics of people. I absolutely wish that there was this form of guidance when I was a young woman. I could have avoided being taken advantage of by evil people. I didn’t have parents or siblings to give me the advice I could have used. I offer the same advice I would offer my two sons. I have a few people on Quora who specifically ask me for my input. The people asking for my viewpoint appears to grow each week. I sure hope it serves them well. I know we are meant to learn lessons and cannot avoid every tragedy. Here is the posed question and my response below:

POSED QUESTION:

“How do you psychologically get into someone’s head?”

MY RESPONSE:

“Firstly, why would you want to get into someone’s head? What purpose does this serve? Are you looking for revenge? To deceive? To gain an understanding of the phenomenon? To actually get to know someone? To have them fear you? Are you a victim? Are you asking out of curiosity? I would think that the only way a person can get in someone else’s head is if the other person actually cares about the opinion. How does a person get someone to care? I would think that they need to admire the person or believe that they are of high value and/or influence. They would want consistent access to that person. These desires happen over time. They develop a bond, via a friendship or a relationship. In time, this person could then fear losing the other person. This is why a person would be thinking about the person in their head, via some form of an emotional connection. Yes, people can develop an emotionally healthy connection to each other. This results in a healthy mindset of a person who adores the other person. For some reason, I often make the association of a person in the head of another person as torture and not a good association. This can have a lot to do with a mindset going sour after there is a bad dramatic shift in the relationship. A person can also get attached to another person if the other person makes their lives better or they perceive the bond will continue to improve their lives. Once a person “takes up real estate” in another person’s head, it is hard to release those feelings. Plenty of time and space away from the person in their head helps with the healing process. Hopefully, people proceed properly with this information and it satisfies some curiosity. I wish freedom for any mind that has another person occupying their head that they don’t want. Always try to do right by another soul. You don’t want that same bad energy coming back your way at some point. I wish much luck to anyone who needs it”. -Leslie M. Jasper

Hello Everyone!

I had previously shared with you my son Tom’s Tswoooh23_ YouTube channel. Both of my sons Tom and Johnny play various PS4 video games and stream them while playing.  Both of the boys are awaiting the availability of the PS5 game system to come out.  I owe Johnny a PS5 from this past Christmas and his birthday.  Johnny wants to go skydiving with a friend very soon.  I also had passed over half the money for Tom’s birthday and Christmas to him as well.  Despite being released mid November 2021, it was impossible to try to get the game before Christmas.  I have look and try to find the PS5 game system again for Johnny.  I would describe the game sessions as just like “bro hang time sessions“. Johnny is known as Johnboi on the game streaming sessions. Tom’s cousin Vinny is known as Vinny Bonez.  The group energy ranges from chill to a very high energy smack talk.  Of course they talk trash to each other, place bets, and have other people in on the streams. I have added, to my Verbally Disastrous YouTube Channel, a spot where I save his streams periodically. They play Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Madden 21, Call of Duty, and many other games. I almost roll my eyes if they ask me to play video games with them.  However, I try to watch the boys play when we all get together. Hello Everyone!

I am sharing a question that I stumbled upon and responded. Are you reading my mind before I tell you that it was on Quora? If so, you are a good mind reader. I remember having a discussion about having nudes on the phone when Tom was in middle school. I told him to get rid of the picture even if it is offered by a young lady. Just admire and delete and don’t even respond that you received the unsolicited photo. I told him it was child pornography and you do not want to get involved in any potential legal nonsense. The older a young man gets, the more tricky and sticky a situation can get. If an 18-year old young man gets caught with an underage picture on their phone, they can go to jail here in the United States. This can happen if you asked for it or not! I personally believe that ownership of the crime lies with the sender. Especially if it was not even requested. If a girl is doing it, she is seeking attention from the young man. Please don’t fall for the trap and block the number if you have to after telling her to stop doing it. If a parent of the daughter wanted to press charges, now you are walking around as a registered sex offender, at the very least. Melissa has a friend who told her about a young man who did two years in jail for having underage girls nude on his phone. That is scary and not necessary at all since it can be prevented. The delete and block features are very helpful under these situations. Here is the posed question below and my response to the question:

POSED QUESTION:

“I’m 17 and was asking a 14-year-old to send (private) photos of themselves (jokingly). People got my info and said I’m getting reported. What do I do?”

MY RESPONSE:

“Ooohh!! Be careful with that!! You are at that age where you are in the danger zone. You can actually be charged with a sex crime if you were 18-years old. If someone, such as a parent, wanted to press charges, you would end up fighting for your life. The last thing you want is to be registered as a sex offender for the rest of your life. That kind of a criminal record can stain you for the rest of your life. Everything from college, sports, job opportunities, relationships, housing, and other things we didn’t previously think about. If I were in your shoes, I would claim that someone hacked into my phone through an app. You had to bring the phone to the cell phone carrier to wipe your phone clean and reset passwords and everything. Once you get safely away from that situation, that is a lesson learned to avoid that subject moving forward. One of my son’s heard about a kid, in middle school, that had to go in front of a judge because an under age girl sent him nudes. The kid got busted since he saved them in his phone. The mother of the girl came after the young man and his family legally. That is so not good to get caught up in but it is stuff that can happen. Regardless of whether or not she sent them, you cannot have them saved on your phone. It is considered child pornography and you are in danger of being labeled as a sex offender. Hopefully, the person said that to scare you. Delete anything and everything from your phone and keep your nose clean from now on. Restore your phone to factory settings. What advice would you give to a young person stuck in this predicament? Would your advice be similar? Would it be way different? Are you capable of even discussing a sensitive subject like this with your teen? For the people with young children, these are the topics that you must be prepared to discuss with your teens. If not, they will come on these public forums after the fact seeking advice. It is cool that a forum like this exists. If they want to send it out anonymously, that is an option. I have had many chats with my sons that would make the average person cringe. It is necessary, in my eyes, to leave nothing off the table of discussion. They have a level of comfort that I never had as a kid. I have preached about wearing protection and no drinking and driving until I am blue in the face. I hang out with my friends and crash at their house if I am drinking. I can never say that I have not driven while technically drunk in my whole . However, efforts are made to avoid that if I can. Yes, I know I have said this in my blog several times. It is intended for any young person reading my blog. You can never say it enough. I wish you all a good Monday wherever you are in the globe.  Hello Everyone!

As I mentioned in my last post, I shared nine Mother’s Day In Da Park videos from YouTube.  I also uploaded some other videos that I had done within the past week.  I walked past a McDonald’s and shared an observation.  I also shared this very expensive Weber grill at Lowes.  Of course, I posted two videos of either Melissa or I pretending to be Daisy’s voice. I am trying to use subtitles on my videos. I know there are viewers that can read English but have a tough time with listening to English. Therefore, I will try to add the subtitles to my videos. Hello Everyone!

I spent the weekend hanging out with my favorite girl in the whole world Melissa.  We invited my other favorite pals Tara and Chris up for a Saturday BBQ.  Melissa and I scored a sweet deal on a gas grill then found a Weber charcoal grill at a tag sale.  We snatched that charcoal grill for $40.  We had a blast and I had an outer body experience by Saturday night.  By Sunday, Melissa and I did a Netflix and chill session.  I was nursing a bad stomach as well.  I am much better by Monday and was up to blogging and loading videos to YouTube.  Instead of going to dinner with the usual Mother’s Day crowd and spending $100-200 bucks on dinner, I said let’s go to the park instead.  We sort of had the park to ourselves so our dogs ran loose most of the time.  I had a better time, despite the extra work, chilling out in the park with my sons Tom and Jho.  Here are nine videos I took in the park that I put onto YouTube.  Hopefully, you will get a laugh or two out of them:
